Westown Association acquired the Night Market brand from NEWaukee, a local engagement agency, who had produced the event since 2014. After the Market’s cancelation in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Westown Association assumed production of the event, hosting a single Market on August 18, 2021 and the event’s first full season since it’s hiatus in 2022.
Westown Association is a non-profit business association focused on championing the economic and social development in the Westown neighborhood in downtown Milwaukee. As an organization, Westown works hard to promote, program and enhance the neighborhood through special events, business outreach and economic development initiatives that help build a thriving downtown community. The Milwaukee Night Market, presented by Clover from Fiserv, is held one Wednesday a month, June through September. The 2025 Markets are on June 11, July 16, August 13 and September 10! The MKE Night Market is open from 5 to 10 p.m. and is located on West Wisconsin Avenue between 2nd Street and Vel R. Phillips Avenue.

Each year, Westown Association looks for artists, restaurateurs, crafters and makers of all sorts to showcase their talents and vend at the Milwaukee Night Market. We are now accepting applications for the 2025 season. Visit our applications page for more information.

Yes! Vendors at the MKE Night Market have the option of accepting cash as a form of payment. Most vendors will accept both cash and credit cards.
The Night Market beverage tents are cashless.

Interstate Parking provides a flat $3 parking rate at The Avenue structure during each of the four Night Markets! Entrances are at 615 N Plankinton Ave. & 258 W Michigan St.
Additional street parking, parking structures and surface lots are available in the immediate area.

The Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) has a number of routes from all over the county that will bring you directly to the MKE Night Market and have service all day and night: BlueLine, GoldLine, GreenLine, Routes 12, 14, 15, 19, 23, 30, 30X, 31, 33, 57 and 80. Check out the routes and schedules at ridemcts.com. Rides are just $2 each with an M-Card or the RideMCTS app (includes 90-minutes of free transfers. Cash fare is $2.25 and no free transfer).
The Hop is free to ride and has stops just blocks from the MKE Night Market. Get off at the Wisconsin Avenue Southbound stop and you’ll see the Market just across the Milwaukee River. Or, from the Intermodal Station stop, walk three blocks north to reach the south entrance of the 3rd St. Market Hall which leads directly to the heart of the MKE Night Market. There are limited picnic tables and beer garden tables at the event for attendees to sit at.

Street closures go into effect at 10AM. All vehicles parked within the closed streets after 10AM will be ticketed and towed, and this area will not be accessible to deliveries. Streets will reopen after 12AM. Access to the 310W, The Avenue and the City parking structures will be maintained.
